SFO honored for concessions

All airports are not created equal when it comes to the kinds of services and amenities that help take the stress out of those long hours spent waiting on flights or sitting out delays.

San Francisco International Airport rightly takes pride in its art exhibits, live music programs, on-site medical clinic and impressive array of retail and dining outlets.

Now SFO has extra reason to be proud. Along with Phoenix Harbor Airport and Toronto Pearson Airport, SFO shares 2010 honors in Airport Revue News' Best Airport and Concessionaire Awards. SFO and its co-honorees won in the category of "Airport With the Best Overall Concessions Program - Large Airports Division."

More than 200 industry judges voted for nominees in dozens of categories. It's nice to be recognized when you stand out above the crowd.
