The 1970s are alive and well at Rhyme Or Reason. The new restaurant, in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood, boasts an intriguing cocktail program and “American eclec - tic” menu, all built around the retro theme.

“We think the ‘70s was one of the greatest eras,” says Rhyme Or Reason partner Le’Qoinne Rice. “New music, new booze and different types of cuisines were being introduced and accepted in America. It was truly a great time to dance and celebrate life.”

Executive Chef Chris de la Cueva says the menu is unlike anything guests would usually see on nearby Division Street. Customers can indulge in dishes such as Moroccan Lamb Meatballs and Duck, Duck Pie as well as flirty cocktails like the Sex Machine.

The unique restaurant seats up to 202 guests and has pri - vate dining space available with regular live music and a variety of event packages.

It was the day no one thought they would see happen—at least in this lifetime. On Nov. 2, the eternal underdogs the Chicago Cubs won the 2016 World Series Championship, ending a 108-year wait and gaining a whole lot of new appreciation and fans as a result. Just 10 weeks later they would celebrate yet again at the annual fan convention at the Sheraton Grand Chicago, which was an undeniable success thanks to the quick actions of a team of event producers.

This museum promises to share a story that is not quite the one we learned in school. George Washington does indeed make an appearance—you can see the tent that he used as his headquarters in an interactive exhibit—but Museum of the American Revolution promises to tell a tale that is lesser known. From the first shots of the Revolutionary War to the formation of the United States, its mission is to tell the story of everyone from slaves and Native Americans to women who took up arms to fight for the cause.
